She told me to live life joyfully and to fully enjoy every moment. She truly fulfilled that mission. Behind the beautiful person she was, she was a lady full of trauma and grief. She never showed her pain and always shined a light on the joy in life. Wrapped in her arms, the whole world suddenly stopped and the only thing that could be felt was her love and appreciation for you. Her hair was an auburn reddish color that shone in the rays of light and blew through the breeze. Her hair was the type, where once a month she would run to the closest drug store to grab box dye. She was the one who was always filled with life and dreamed of staying “young”. As I stroll through the long, narrow walls of my house, I glance up at the pictures that surround me and feel her with me. Resting on my shoulder, always there, knowing that she would be there for me in a heartbeat.
