The Book of Existence

Everyone’s life is supposed to be individual books. I have a book, you have a book, everyone has a book. The books are filled with comedy, drama, thrills, horor, action, etc…..no matter what the book is about, you can’t skip chapters. That’s not how life works. You’re not supposed to have a choice in skipping a paragraph or getting a say in meeting every character. You won’t enjoy all of it. Some chapters will even make you cry for weeks. You will read things you don’t want to read, but you will also have moments where you don’t want the pages to end. For Will and Marie, it’s like someone decided to rip some of the pages out. Random ones. Some important, some not as much. To Will and Marie, World War 2 never happened. One moment they were playing princes and princesses with Curtis, the next, they were adults, had blood on their hands, and didn’t even remember their own names. Will managed to find some of his missing pages and taped them back into his book, praying he got the order right, because his book wasn’t numbered. Some he still and may never get back. Some pages he had to go to Curtis for, when he was still around.

As for Marie, she’s had so many ripped out, her book now seems nearly empty. The cover’s beaten up, the pages that were left are singed and torn…but it’s still there.

There’s hope.

Will is going to do his best to help her find the missing pages, because no matter what happens in life, you have to keep going…

Stories keep the world revolving.

Live yours, don’t miss out.
