How lucky are we to be where we are
But how we must feel for those who are afar
How lucky are we to live such glamorous lives
But what about those who are so deprived
While we must enjoy where we are
We can not forget those who are far
Those who struggle in ways we would never even think
Like water and food which is gone in a blink
We must speak with kind hearts and just minds
And never be ones whose eye turns blind
Caring for all no matter what
Near or far feeling their hurt in our gut
