CHAPTER ONE: Cinnamon’s Return
Cinnamon collapsed on the library floor. The stars were shining brightly outside the clear windows. “It’s already night?” Cinnamon thought. “My parents must be worried sick!” But when Cinnamon ran through his home, his family was fast asleep.
“They forgot about me!” Cinnamon whispered to himself. “I can’t believe it. Maybe they don’t love me, after all.” Cinnamon had never felt so alone. All of the sudden, he missed Sunny, the duck from Carrot Land who had been so nice to Cinnamon in helping him get home. But why did he miss Sunny? The bunny had everything.
Suddenly, Cinnamon conceived an idea. “I will go back to Carrot Land and find Sunny!” he thought. “He will know what to do! I miss him, anyways.”
Just then, Cinnamon thought about calling Butter. Would he care? Cinnamon wanted to know. So he pulled out his cell phone and called Butter. “Hey, dude! You’ve reached Butter’s voicemail. Budabye, and I’ll call ya later!”
The phone beeped. Cinnamon wondered if Butter cared about anything at all anymore.
CHAPTER TWO: Barriers
Cinnamon snatched Carrot Land off of the floor. He ravenously opened to his favorite page, and jumped on it. He did not fall through the book. “What is happening?” he thought. There was no glow. No amazing feeling of suction. Just Cinnamon at night, with the book open, in an empty room…
Alone.
THE END…
OR IS IT REALLY?
