Leaves glide and blizzards hail.
The time of year where we lose the illumination of the sun,
and relieve it with bright lights of Christmas cheer.
People start to stay in due to the frost, but many still venture out,
skiing, skating, snowball fights, sledding.
Everyone eventually scurries inside,
to warm food, to fireplaces, and to warm people.
Radio stations show dedication, tis the season,
weather may dip,
and school may close.
Yet, the feelings I get of Christmas
will never get old.
