Each morning, I drive into the sun

I have very few consistencies in my life

One is that each morning, I drive my car into the sun

It happens at the same time each morning, yet it always catches me by surprise

The sudden blinding gleam that removes the scenery from behind the wheel

I don’t try and redirect my gaze to the world in front of me

I just take a sigh of relief

Serenity

The conflicts of the world don’t matter in my giant flame

So for 30 seconds

I simply enjoy my quick trip into the sun
