I met this girl today in the Library Romance section, and her name was Sophie.
She was wearing a beautiful pink flowy dress. We were each reading a book from the same author. I was reading “Her and Me”, and she was reading “Me and I”.
I hated reading though. I was only reading for an English project, and when I told her that she freaked out! I guess she loves reading! Sophie seemed very nice, but was shy. She said she loves wearing dresses, and only wears them. Which I thought was cute. She even told me she wears dressing gowns to bed!
I told her my name was William, but my parents call me Will. She asked me why I was so tan… which I thought was funny. I said I went to Florida for a weekend. (She was amazed)
“Florida is my FAVORITE!” Sophie exclaimed.
“I love Florida too!” I screamed by accident.
“SHH” the librarian said.
We both looked at each other, and laughed. Sophie helped me with my project, and I got snacks for us since we were starving! We both left, and gave each other our numbers.
The next day we met up again, and worked on my project. But we mostly talked. Sophie said she really enjoyed working on this with me. I agreed. After a while we walked next door to this coffee shop that was on campus, and sat down at a booth.
Sophie ordered a “small cappuccino with almond milk, light ice, and 3 pumps of vanilla syrup.”
“Wow!” I said, “that’s amazing, I’ll have the same thing!”
We sat down and talked about school. A couple weeks later she met my parents, and I met hers. We hang out every day and couldn’t get enough! I loved her and she loved me!
